Dental Products to Always Travel With

Posted on 7/23/2017 by Office Manager
Don't forget to pick up travel size dental products when travelling.
With the arrival of spring comes vacation time. Traveling is always an adventure, but you always want to make sure you don't leave home without the essentials. From clothes, to shoes, to sunblock, you've got your checklist started. In your vacation inventory, don’t forget to pack these dental products.

Toothbrush

You don’t want to skip out on brushing your teeth. Even just one day away from your routine can lead to an excess buildup of plaque and bacteria, increasing your chances for gum disease. You don’t need anything fancy. A soft bristled brush will do. There are also travel toothbrushes that fold in half for easier packing.

Cover Cap

Caps for your toothbrush can be quite helpful during travel. They help to prevent anything from getting on your toothbrush, potentially contaminating it. It also prevents the bristles from getting squished or otherwise ruined. If you are packing multiple toothbrushes, caps often come in a multipack, with different colors to help you distinguish each other’s toothbrushes.

Travel Size Toothpaste

You will also need toothpaste. But you don’t need to pack a huge tube every time you go somewhere, especially if you’re only going to be gone a couple of nights. You can get travel sized tubes of your favorite toothpaste from just about any pharmacy.

Floss

Flossing is an essential part of your oral hygiene routine. And the great thing is that floss doesn’t take up much space. You can even opt for a pack of floss picks, if you don’t want to take your normal container of floss with you.

Travel Size Mouthwash

No one wants to lug around a full-sized bottle of mouthwash. Much like toothpaste, travel sized varieties are available. And the great thing is that these bottles are often safe to take with you if you are traveling by plane.

Just because you’re on vacation, that doesn’t mean you should take a vacation from your oral health regime. By traveling with a few dental essentials, you will be sure to keep up your oral hygiene, keeping your mouth clean and healthy.
